General Class Questions

What is sensory play?

Sensory play is hands-on exploration that engages your child’s senses—touch, sight, sound, smell, and sometimes taste. It boosts development, sparks creativity, and gives little ones a fun and meaningful way to learn through play.

What ages are your sensory bins designed for?

Our classes are created just for little learners ages 1–4, with activities that meet them right where they are developmentally — curious, busy, and ready to explore! However, this is not a requirement.

Do I need to stay with my child during the class?

Yes! This is a Mini & Me experience — which means grown-ups get to join the fun. Think of it as bonding time with a sprinkle of sensory magic.

How long is this class?

Each session is 60 minutes of hands-on, imagination-fueled play. We start out with a circle time, including a couple of songs and a story. Then we move on to the sensory bins, making sure everyone gets a chance to play with each bin.

How many children are in each class?

We keep classes small and cozy, around 12 kids per class, so every child can explore safely and freely.

What is your pricing for private events/parties?

Prices vary depending on location, number of kids, and theme, but we’ll happily send you a quick quote!

Policies

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 12+ hours before class receive a full refund. After that point, we can refund 50% of your class fee. You can also reschedule!

Can I reschedule a class?

Absolutely! Just reach out and we’ll do our best to fit you into another session.

What happens if I am running late?

No worries — join us whenever you arrive! Your child can jump right into the fun.

What is your refund policy for no-shows?

No-shows (without notice) are non-refundable, but we totally understand that things happen! Reach out if you’d like to reschedule. You can reschedule after a no-show three times before the cancellation fee (50% of your class fee) will be applied.

Health and Safety Guidelines

How do you clean and sanitize the sensory materials?

All tools and bins are washed, sanitized, or replaced between classes — and sensory fillers are refreshed often to keep everything safe and sparkly clean. If your child isn’t feeling well, we kindly ask that you reschedule.

Are your materials non-toxic and safe for young children?

Yes! Safety is our top priority. We use non-toxic, taste-safe, or toddler-friendly materials whenever possible.

Do you accommodate allergies or sensitivities?

Please let us know ahead of time — we’re happy to adjust materials or suggest alternative bins.

Is there anything my child cannot bring to class?

We just ask that toys from home stay outside the play area so everyone can enjoy the bins equally.

What to Expect

What should my child wear?

Think “comfy clothes that can get messy!” Sensory play can get squishy, splashy, or sparkly — and that’s part of the fun. Our classes are held outdoors so we recommend checking the weather and dressing your mini appropriately.

Will my child get messy?

Possibly — but in the best way. We encourage messy hands and big imaginations. We will note in the class description if the bin includes anything that could get messy.

Can I take photos or videos during the class?

Of course! Capture all the smiles. We only ask that you avoid photographing other children without permission.
